Čreta is a small settlement in the Vransko municipality in central Slovenia. It lies in the hills to the north of Vransko. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja statistical region.[2]
There are two churches in the settlement. One is dedicated to the Mother of God and dates to the 15th century with 16th and 18th century extensions. The second is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria and was built in the 15th century.[3]
